C H A R L I E    T H A Y E R ' S    L E U K E M I A    A N D    L Y M P H O M A    S O C E I T Y    F U N D R A I S I N G    P A G E I am training to complete the Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half Marathon with Team in Training which raises money for Leukemia and Lymphoma research and patient services. This cause is close to my heart. This February will mark one year since my stepfather, Richard Hamblton, lost his battle with cancer. It began with Leukemia then later cancer spread to his lungs and finally his brain. I am running to honor his memory and with the hopes that the funds I raise will save others from the pain that our family experienced. Not only must I TRAIN TO RUN farther and faster than I have ever run in my life, but I HAVE TO RAISE $2000.00! I cannot meet my goal without support from others I am taking DONATIONS via my Team in Training page as well as creating CUSTOM PAINTINGS. It's a great deal, you get a custom piece of art, and it's completely tax deductible.                 The process is simple. Email charlie@pullittogether.com 1-3 photos of the subject of the painting and I will paint a piece of art from your photo (acrylic on canvas board). You will then donate via my Team in Training donation page as payment. Sizes and prices vary, but range from 18" x 24" to 24" x 36" and $50 - $200. (again, 100% tax deductible!) Due to difficulty and expense of shipping paintings, it's preferred that the pieces are picked up locally, or I can personally deliver locally. If you would like the painting delivered through UPS, then there will be a $20 non-deductible shipping/handling fee.
