Charlie Thayer has a B.A. in Studio Arts Practice from San Jose State University.

She is currently the Worship Arts Director for WestGate Church in San Jose, CA and Art Director for Beautiful Day, a non-profit organization that helps mobilize local churches toward acts of compassion in their communities.

In 2007 she was honored with a Commendation from the City of San Jose for her work in Beautiful Day's Better Homes and Gardens Project.

She enjoys serving others locally at the Neil Christie HIV/AIDS Living Center and internationally on humanitarian missions to Haiti, Mexico and Togo.
